Shots reported fired in SW Austin; Shell casings found in front of residence

Austin police are looking for an individual that fired several shots on Tuesday night in the 200 block of Third Avenue Southwest.
According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to the area at 10:16 p.m. on Tuesday. They spoke to several individuals who said they heard four to five shots fired.
Krueger said one individual claimed to see a silhouette and a muzzle flash from a few houses away, but was unable to give a description or confirm the direction of the shots.
Police searched the area and found five spent 9mm shell casings in front of a residence in the 200 block.
No injuries were reported and police did not find any property damage. There are no suspects at this time.
