Southland softball team picks up its first win of the season

The Southland softball team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Rushford-Peterson (2-9 overall) 9-5 in Rose Creek Friday.

Taylor Bhend picked up the pitching win as she allowed two earned runs for the Rebels (1-6 overall, 1-6 Three Rivers).

Southland scored four runs in the fourth inning to go up 6-2.
