A Grand Meadow man was killed Friday night in a motorcycle accident in rural Mower County, near Grand Meadow.

According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, Stephen Michael Kassel, 21, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding southbound on County Road 8 from County Road 1 left the roadway and struck a driveway.

Kassel was wearing a helmet and Mower County deputies, Grand Meadow Police, Grand Meadow Fire Department Cold Cross and Mayo 1 assisted on the crash.

The report lists road conditions as wet.
