Workshop on human trafficking to be held at the library

A workshop titled “Human Trafficking Awareness” will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Austin Public Library.
The free workshop, led by educators from Mission 21 of Rochester, will provide an overview of human trafficking with a focused emphasis on sex trafficking.
The workshop will give definitions, statistics, tips on how to identify trafficking, laws and regulations regarding sex trafficking and other pertinent information related to human trafficking.
Mission 21 is an anti-trafficking service provider committed to the complete restoration of child victims of sex trafficking. Since 2010, Mission 21 has been working to provide services to children being bought and sold in the commercial sex trade in the Rochester area and statewide.
