Austin High School senior Taylor Tufte took third place in the 2018 Congressional Art Competition.

The contest is sponsored by the Congressional Institute, an annual competition that “recognize[s] and encourage[s] artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.”
Taylor’s piece, “What Lies Ahead,” was created as part of an independent study class at AHS.
Taylor, according to her teacher, Robin Brown, is a talented artist with a “very Minnesotan style.”
