Residents of Mower County will have the opportunity to support two small town fire departments this weekend.

The Brownsdale Fire Department will host a fundraiser fish fry on Friday. Tickets are priced $12 for adults and $6 for kids ages 12 and under. The meal includes fish, baked potato, coleslaw, beans, coffee, milk or lemonade. A kid’s hot dog meal is available for the picky eater in your family.

All proceeds raised from the event will go towards the purchase of new air packs to help protect the firefighters from the dangers of cancer.
