A woman who in 2015 was the subject of a successful search and rescue by community volunteers and emergency personnel, died Saturday, Jan. 6, at St. John’s Lutheran Community nursing home  in Albert Lea.

Funeral services for Rose Vomacka Foss, formerly of London, Minnesota, were held Saturday, Jan. 13 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home.

The Rev. John Holt officiated. Interment was at   London Deer Creek Cemetery.
