The Austin Packer dance team clinched it’s 16th consecutive trip to the state meet at the Section 1AA meet in Kasson Saturday.

The Packer finished second in the high kick division to punch their ticket to state. The Packers took fourth in jazz.

Faribault took first in high kick and South St. Paul was first in jazz.

The Minnesota Class AA state dance meet will be held in Target Center in Minneapolis Friday and Saturday. The Packers will compete in the Class AA qualifying competition for high kick at 2 p.m. Saturday and the finals are scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
