Kristi Fett racked up 42 points and 19 rebounds for LP (26-1 overall) and Olivia Christianson added 19 points, three rebounds and four assists. LP struggled with its outside shooting as it led just 12-8 early on, but Fett eventually wore down Kingsland’s front line with her relentless pursuit on the offensive boards.

“I think our effort picked up and it really got us going,” Fett said. “We’ve played on this court a lot and we’ve shown a lot of heart and emotion here. This feels like a home court to me and it’s my favorite place to play.”
Abby Bollingberg was able to keep Fett involved in the half-court offense as she had seven assists to go with her five points and three steals and Lucy Nelson had three assists off the bench for LP.

“We become pretty difficult to guard when you have to pick your poision against us,” Morris said. “They were jamming Kristi up a little bit and we just tried to create mismatches. Give credit to our kids for making great decisions and finding her.”
