Jacqueline A. Tibbetts , 79, passed away at her home on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018.
Jakki was born on March 14, 1938, in Adams, Minnesota, the daughter of Alfred and Marion Wollweber. She grew up in Adams and moved to Austin, Minnesota, graduating from Pacelli High School.
She was united in marriage to Daniel J. Tibbetts. Together they served in the military and purchased their first home in Hampton, Virginia.
Returned to live in Austin in 1980. She worked for the county until she retired in 2004. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and enjoyed making and sending missionary care packages. Centered around her faith, she made card shrines to bring Jesus to missionary families. Her heart was always focused on Jesus. She enjoyed decorating her home, especially during the holidays, and loved preparing dinners for family and friends.
Jakki’s wishes for all that loved her is to pray for her union with Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Marion Wollweber; brothers, Richard Wollweber and Dennis Wollweber, and husband, Daniel J. Tibbetts.
Survivors include daughters, Michelle Ann and Valerie Patrice; son, Keith Patrick; two granddaughters, Wenonah Sky and Kiana Ann; sister, Patricia Schiesser; nephews Mark and Scott Schiesser; great-nieces Rachel, Gretchen, Jenny and their families; her angels in friendship, Rosemary, Carolyn, Mary T., Bee, and Stephanie; and her adopted daughter by love, Callie.
A memorial blessing will be celebrated from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at her home with Father Raul Silva blessing.
