Elrod, Green and Heimer DDS is spreading the word of good dental health and hygiene to students across Mower County.

During the month of February, which is National Children’s Dental Health Month, the dental office planned to visit every school in Mower County to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers.

On Wednesday, a team from the dental office visited Woodson Kindergarten Center in Austin and visited with all 400 students.

The dental health initiative is something the office has been doing for over 30 years and staff is excited to see how the community outreach has grown. By the end of February the office will have reached over 600 students with its dental health message.
