The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team lost to New Richland-HEG (14-6 overall, 8-2 Gopher) 66-55 in BP Friday.

McKenna Hein had 19 points and five steals for BP (15-6 overall, 9-3 Gopher) and Ayren Ingvalson collected 10 steals.

“I was very proud of how our girls played tonight on the third game of a very tough week,” BP head coach John Bruns said. “We earned big wins on Monday against Maple River and last night against Medford.”
