The Austin girls basketball team played the top team in the Big Nine tough down the stretch in a 61-52 loss on the road Tuesday.

The Packers (11-10 overall, 10-8 Big Nine) outscored the Raiders (20-3 overall, 18-1 Big Nine) 31-29 in the second frame. Austin was led by Abby Lewis, who scored 17 points.
