Allan “Al” H. Eastlee, 76, of Hayfield, Minnesota, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.

Al was born March 10, 1941, in Kasson, Minnesota, the son of Hilman and Mildred (Bungum) Eastlee. Al graduated from Hayfield High School in 1959 and moved to Brownsdale, Minnesota, where he worked for Weyerhaeuser Manufacturing in Austin, Minnesota, for five years. He

married Aloma Peterson Oct. 5, 1963, at West St. Olaf in rural Hayfield. The couple moved to Dodge Center, Minnesota, and later Hayfield. Al worked at IBM for 42 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, sporting events and his cabin up in northern Wisconsin. He was an active member of West St. Olaf Church.

He is survived by his wife, Aloma, of Hayfield; one daughter, Shauna Eastlee of Rochester, Minnesota; two sons, Mitchell Eastlee of Hayfield and Terry (Shavonn) Eastlee of Grand Meadow, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Ashlee, Alissa, Aiden, Meghan and Graham; three great-grandchildren, Caden, Abby, and Mackenzie; two sisters, Pat (Denny) Twait of Soldotna, Alaska, and Bev (Chuck) Enderson of Deep Haven, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018, at West St. Olaf Lutheran Church in rural Hayfield with the Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield, 501 Second St. NW, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
