LeRoy-Ostrander boys rally back to beat Lyle-Pacelli in double OT

The LeRoy-Ostrander boys basketball team made a couple of late bursts to beat Lyle-Pacelli 72-66 in double overtime in LeRoy Thursday.
The Cardinals (13-3 overall, 5-2 SEC) forced the second overtime when Trey Hungerholt, who had 22 points, hit a baseline three-pointer with 14 seconds left and they erased a four-point LP lead late in regulation to force the first overtime.
“It was a hard fought game and I’m glad we came out with a win,” LO head coach Trevor Carrier said. “We were in a dog fight and the kids played hard.”
Zach Bollingberg and Frederico Pulagrin each scored 17 points for LP (8-7 overall, 3-5 SEC).
