Nordeng earns master’s at ISU

AMES, Iowa – Brenna Nordeng of Rose Creek was among 2,286 graduates who received degrees during fall commencement exercises at Iowa State University. Nordeng earned a Master of Science degree in biomedical sciences.

South Dakota State University announces dean’s list

BROOKINGS, S.D. — Area students have been named to the dean’s list for academic excellence after the fall 2017 semester at South Dakota State University. Students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Students from Austin with 4.0 include:

Aleesha Lee Anderson, Trenton William Brown, Sarah Lynn Eich, Joshua David Irvin and Mary Elizabeth Willrodt.

Also on the dean’s list from Austin are: Hannah Marie Bailey, Hannah Rose Burkhart, Katelyn Grace Hillson and Kendra Rae Miller
