Cecil Thomas Mincks passed away on Jan. 10, 2018.

He was born May 7, 1962 in Illinois.

Cecil lived in Austin, Adams and Owatonna, Minnesota. He had several friends from all three places. He graduated from high school in Scioto, Illinois.

Cecil loved watching NASCAR and was an avid fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Mincks; one uncle, Don Llewellyn of Clayton, Illinois.

He is survived by one daughter, Cathy Hughs of Illinois; one son of Austin; one brother Mark Mincks of Austin; and one sister, Chris Mincks of Macomb, Illinois; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a private memorial service at a relative’s home on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018.
