Southland girls basketball team falls to Kingsland

The Southland girls basketball team lost to Kingsland (2-1 overall, 2-1 Three Rivers) by a score of 62-48 on the road Tuesday.

McKendry Kennedy led the Rebels (1-2 overall, 1-2 Three Rivers) with 21 points.

“The girls battled hard,” Southland head coach Dean Bendtsen said. “Kingsland is an athletic, quick and hard working team. It was a nice effort by the girls, we just didn’t sink enough shots.”
