Cotillion Dance Club
Cotillion Dance Club held it’s December 5th dinner and dance at Country Club with 34 members. With the first snowfall on the ground and inside beautifully decorated for Christmas it gave us all a very festive feeling. A delicious dinner was served and we danced to the Berry Rush Trio. New members are Mike and Jo Hull.
Our next dinner dance will be 2018-2019 which will be Cotillion’s 100th year. For information call Marge@ 507-433-1590
Duplicate Bridge
Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Mower County Senior Center. First, Gail and Ray Schmidt; second, Barb Engebretson and Orrin Roisen; third, Carolyne Higgins and Chuck Borneman; fourth, Joyce Crowe and Millie Seiver; fifth, Judy Bungum and Dave Solomonson; sixth, John Liesen and Rick Stroup.
Wednesday, Dec. 6, seven teams played at the Mower County Senior Center. First, John Liesen and Rick Stroup; second, Gail and Ray Schmidt; third, Larry Crowe and Dave Ring; fourth place, Loren Cleland and Bud Higgins.
Players were from Austin, Albert Lea, Adams and Rose Creek. All bridge players are encouraged to join us at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and noon on Wednesdays.
