Robin Louis Minette, 33, of Austin pleaded guilty to felony terroristic threats on Friday in Mower County District Court as part of a plea agreement. A charge of gross misdemeanor domestic assault will be dropped at the sentencing as part of the deal.
Minette was arrested in May over a March 27 incident in which he “pinned” a woman to the floor and told her he would kill her. When the victim’s minor son yelled at him, Minette threatened to punch him.
A review of Minette’s criminal history shows a prior conviction for battery in Wisconsin.
Felony terroristic threats carry a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Minette will be sentenced on Feb. 2.
