Hungerholt seals a win for LeRoy-Ostrander boys

The LeRoy-Ostrander boys basketball rallied back from a 10-point second half deficit to beat Randolph (1-2 overall, 0-1 SEC) 45-43 on the road Tuesday.
The Cardinals (1-1 overall, 1-0 SEC) trailed by 10 points with eight minutes left in the game, but they were able to close the gap. Trey Hungerholt, who scored 25 points, hit a runner to put Hayfield up 44-43 with eight seconds left and Carter Johnson came up with a steal on Randolph’s ensuing possession to lock things up.
“We made some good defensive stops and that was a very, very big play Carter Johnson by helping on the end line,” LO head coach Trevor Carrier said. “I’m very proud.”
