The Welcome Center  is offering The Community Interpreter (TCII) Training  at Riverland Community College in Austin.

This nationally recognized, 40-hour course is the foundation of any bilingual staff or freelance interpreter. It is nationally required for anyone to be able to interpret in a community setting.

The Welcome Center is offering this course for $350, which is below the $600 price tag found in the Twin Cities.

This training will run from Thursday, Nov. 30, to Saturday, Dec 2, and Friday, Dec 8, to Saturday, Dec. 9. The sessions run from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with lunch at noon.
