Hospice at Mayo Clinic Health System is seeking adult volunteers to provide support to hospice patients and their caregivers in Albert Lea, Austin and surrounding communities.

Hospice volunteers lend companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their caregivers in many ways. Volunteer tasks may include family support, errands, providing transportation, bereavement follow-up and office work.

Volunteer time is flexible and volunteers may choose the tasks in which they prefer to participate. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license and attend a training session.
