The Austin Jaycees and National Association of Letter Carriers are asking Austin residents to participate in their city wide food drive on Saturday.

Participation is simple: just leave non-perishable food items in a bag near your mailbox by 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. A letter carrier, member of the Austin Jaycees, or student from the National Honor Society will come by to pick it up.

All food will go toward restocking the Mower County Food Shelf.
