The Riverland Community College men’s basketball team had a late comeback fall short as it lost 81-79 to Northwestern JV in the Minnesota West Invite Saturday.

Jace Klinkner scored 36 points to lead the Blue Devils (1-1 overall) but his game-winning three-point attempt rimmed out as time expired.

RCC had trailed by 15 points before taking a brief one-point lead late in the game.
