Betty Ann Keller, 95, of Austin, Minnesota, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at St. Mark’s Memory Care in Austin.

Betty was born to Arthur Edward and Abbie (Schroeder) King on March 29, 1922. She graduated from Austin High School in 1939. She was employed by the treasurer’s office in the Mower County Courthouse until 1947, when she married Howard Keller after his return home from military service in World War II. They had a son, Art, and a daughter, Dianne. In 1963, Betty returned to work as a bank teller until her retirement. Together, Betty and Howard shared an active life in the community and the Baptist Church, finding joy in serving others. Betty will be remembered for her ready smile and ever-present kind spirit, and for dedicating her life to her family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Howard.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Art Keller (Brad); her daughter, Dianne Helfritz (Keith); her granddaughter, Amy Helfritz; and her loving family and friends.

The family would like to acknowledge Nancy Johnson for her years of professional and loving care to our mother.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. Catherine Lemons officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
