The Southland football team couldn’t overcome a rash of injuries as it lost 43-14 to Wabasha-Kellogg in Adams Friday night.
The Rebels (2-4 overall) trailed 36-0 at haltime, but they were able to outscore the Falcons (3-3 overall) 14-7 in the second half.
“We’re so decimated with injuires right now,” Southland head coach Shawn Kennedy said. “There were times where we looked really good.”
Carl Mueller threw TD passes in the loss for the Rebels as he hit Lee Wilson with a 20-yard scoring strike and he found Jared Landherr for a 36 yard TD pass.
