The Mower County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of two dirt bikes from a storage shed in Rose Creek.

According to Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May, the owner reported that a black SSR 170 CC dirt bike and an orange SSR 125 CC dirt bike were missing from a storage shed located in the 19000 block of 600th Avenue in Rose Creek. The bikes had a combined value of $3,000.

The owner said he last saw the bikes about two weeks ago. Neither of the bikes have plates.

The case is still under investigation. There are no suspects at this time.
