Jim Snee, president and chief executive officer of Hormel Foods, will be the keynote speaker at the 2017 Minnesota Manufacturers’ Summit Oct. 6 in Minneapolis.

He will talk about the company’s track record of success and outlook for the future.

Minnesota’s manufacturing sector, the backbone of the state’s economy, will be center stage at the summit. The event is from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Hilton Minneapolis. The summit is presented by the Minnesota Manufacturers Coalition, which is managed by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.
