The Hayfield football team had its season come to an end when it lost to top seeded Goodhue (9-0 overall) 60-7 in a Section 1A quarterfinal in Goodhue Tuesday.

The No. 8 seeded Vikings (0-9 overall) pulled to within 15-7 when Jake Risius had a two-yard TD run early in the second, but it was all Goodhue after that.
