Cardinals knocked off by Cleveland

The No. 6 seeded LeRoy-Ostrander football team was knocked off by No. 3 Cleveland (8-1 overall) in a 55-30 loss in a Section nine man quarterfinal on the road Tuesday night.
The Cardinals (4-5 overall) trailed 27-8 at the half and they had a drive cut short by a penalty early in the second half when they were looking to get within two scores.
“We had a couple mistakes early, but we kept battling,” LO head coach Aaron Hungerholt said. “I was proud to see the guys play hard and stick with the game.”
Trey Hungerholt threw for 207 yards and three TDs for LO and he ran for 102 yards.
