Bruins fall to Brookings on the road

The Austin Bruins weren’t able to close a late gap as they lost 4-2 to the Brookings Blizzard (9-5 overall) on the road Friday.
Evan Cholak scored his second goal of the night to bring the Bruins (4-4-1-2 overall) within 3-2 with 1:11 left in the third period, but Vince Marino scored 46 seconds later to ice the game for Brookings.
Alex Schilling had 29 saves in the loss for Austin.
