Chris Fischer, 14, of Austin, Minnesota, entered the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus in Rochester, Minnesota, after a medical emergency on Aug. 22, 2017. Due to complications from cardiac arrest, Chris passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017.

Service: A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, Knowlton Auditorium, Austin High School.

Visitation: From 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary. There will be no reviewal on Sunday.

Funeral Home: Clasen-Jordan Mortuary.

Memorial: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and a charitable trust will be established in Chris’ name.
