The Austin girls tennis team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Red Wing 4-3 on the road Thursday.

The Packers (1-6 overall, 1-4 Big Nine) won three of the four singles matches as Maia Irvin gutted out a three-set win at No. 4 against Jenna Stewert by scores of 6-7 (3-7), 7-5 (10-5).
