•One check for the amount of $271.04 dated June 9, written to Knauer’s Market in Austin. A Mower County detective showed the owner a photo of Gutierrez, who identified her as the woman who wrote the check, on July 6.

He said they loaded the furniture into a truck and had to make two trips to get it all. The checks came on June 14 and the store was advised that no such account existed at Wells Fargo. A Mower County detective showed the employee a photo of Gutierrez, who identified her as the woman who wrote the checks, on June 29.

•One check for the amount of $104.08, dated June 14, written to Flippin Furniture in Austin from a closed account. The storeowner had video surveillance of the transaction and a Mower County detective identified Gutierrez on the tape.

•One check for the amount of $608.75, dated June 20, written to Holiday Ford in Austin for car repairs. A Mower County detective showed an employee a photo of Gutierrez, who identified her as the woman who wrote the check, on July 21.

Gutierrez has had prior convictions for crimes involving checks.

She is scheduled to appear in court again on Aug. 14.
