Public TV panel to discuss future of health care in rural southeastern Minnesota

KSMQ Public Television will be moderating a televised panel discussion about the long-term future of the health care system in rural southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa.

The program will be broadcast numerous times in September.

Questions  focusing on 10 years from now will include:

• How will rural residents access health care?

• How is rural health care technology likely to change?

• What will be the top health concerns for farmers?

• Which health care jobs will be in demand?

•Will our use of the hospital be different than it is today?

• How will I pay for my health care?

The panel will include experts from the hospital, nursing and research areas of health care delivery providing their best analysis and experience into these topics and others, according to a KSMQ news release.
