Grand Meadow football team starts strong with a win over Nicollet

The Grand Meadow football team opened its season up with a 71-27 win over Nicollet (0-1 overall) on the road Thursday.
Six different players had at least one rushing touchdown for the Superlarks (1-0 overall) and Zach Myhre racked up 249 yards and four scores on just 13 carries. Josh Graves added a kickoff return for a score and a rushing TD for GM.
“I wasn’t very happy with how we played in our scrimmage, but we played quite a bit better today,” GM head coach Gary Sloan said.
GM has now won 51 games in a row.
