Ruth L. Hovland, 97, of Shakopee, Minnesota, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at St. Gertrude’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in Shakopee.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin with Pastor Mark Niethammer officiating.

Interment: Grandview Cemetery in Austin, following funeral service.

Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, at the church.
