The Austin Utilities Board will introduce a new supervisor and get an update on  its customer satisfaction survey program at its meeting at 4 p.m. , Tuesday, Aug. 8 in its board room at 1908 14th St. NE.

Jeff Majerus is the new gas and water construction supervisor. An employee of 17 years, Majerus has been promoted to the position effective Aug. 1. He’s taking over for Mike Mentel, who is retiring  in October. Mentel has worked at Austin Utilities for 30 years.

Tom Tylutki, electric distribution director and Kelly Lady, marketing and energy services manager will present an update on the survey program at the utilities board meeting.
