The Austin Post 91 Legion baseball team closed out its regular season with a pair of losses in Mankato Friday night. Austin lost to Mankato American 7-6 in eight innings and Austin fell to Mankato National 4-2.

Dan Bollingberg was four-for-nine with a double and a triple with an RBI on the night for Post 91 (13-4 overall) and AJ Mueller was four-for-eight with a double.

Austin will open the postseason as the top seeded team when it hosts a District tournament game in Marcusen Park 7 p.m. Tuesday. The rest of the District tournament will be held in Owatonna.
