The CMG Austin All-Stars took home the second place trophy in the Byron Tournament Saturday.

“We played very good baseball in our first two games” said Coach Dan Ransom.

Cody Williams, Payton Ransom ,Camden Gilles, Nick Robertson, Jarred Lillemon and Jake Truckenmiller led the Stars in hitting. Gilles and Ransom were outstanding on defense. Robertson, Lillemon and Mac Nelson pitched.

“It was a good tune up for our upcoming state tourney,” said Ransom.

The CMG All-Stars play in the Gopher State Tourney this weekend in Sartell

They will open play Big Lake 6 p.m. Friday.
