Franklin “Dean” Carmack, 83, of Painesville, Ohio, passed away, Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Homestead II, Painesville.

Franklin was born May 29, 1934, in Macedonia, Iowa.

Franklin was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his son, Dwayne Carmack; grandchildren, Wyatt and Alicia Carmack; great granddaughter, Charlee Carmack; sisters, Marlynn (Richard) Klinzing, Cleo (Don) Barnett, Janet (Paul) Jull, Diane (Vic) Alexander and June (James) Retterath and many other loving family members.

Preceding him in death are his sisters, Shirlee (Mike) Dowd, Ardell (Leland) Larson and Irene Carmack.

Private family services were held.
