Eileen C. Risch, 83, formerly of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Eileen Carol Bray was born March 29, 1934, in Austin, Minnesota, to Raymond and Florence (Benson) Bray. Following her graduation from Blooming Prairie High School, she received her associate degree from Austin Community College. Eileen worked as a secretary at Wilson Foods in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She married Donald Risch and the couple raised three children in their 19 years together. Upon moving to Rochester in 1973, Eileen worked at Osco Drug for many years. Her favorite pastime was being a mom. She enjoyed her family very much, especially being with the grandchildren. She loved to worship the Lord and was active in Baptist churches throughout her life. Her family will miss her dearly.

Survivors include her children Rodney (Nancy) Risch of Hastings, Minnesota, Jeffrey (Lynda) Risch of Rush City, Minnesota, and Heather (Greg) Knott of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Wilson of Plymouth, Minnesota, and Myrna (Marvin) Donkers of Nerstrand, Minnesota. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Nathan Bray.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the Worlein – Blooming Prairie Funeral Home Chapel in Blooming Prairie. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Red Oak Grove Lutheran Cemetery.
