Dexter Sunflower Daze will take place on Saturday, June 17. This biennial event will have several activities going on throughout the day.

“Dexter Sunflower Daze attracts several hundred people every time it’s held,” said Karnette Unverzagt of the Dexter Community Club.

This year, visitors can participate in several tournaments. There will also be a vendor fair of over 20 vendors.

The fire department will host a water fight, and the day will end with a free performance by County Line Drive. Food and beer will be available for purchase all day and night.

“It’s a good way to meet people if you’re new to the area,” Unverzagt said. “It’s a lot of fun.”
