With another hot, muggy day, local utility companies are looking to residents to help conserve.

Austin Utilities, Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services and Dairyland Power Cooperative had all issued peak alerts asking residents to reduce electrical usage until 8 p.m.

Temperatures were expected to reach about 92 degrees Tuesday.
