FIRST TEAM

Elly Struck, pitcher, Blooming Prairie

The Blooming Prairie senior maintained an ERA of 2.24 as she struck out 119, while allowing 101 hits and 56 walks in 117 innings. At the plate, Strunk hit .320 with one homer, five doubles and 12 RBIs.

Jenna Jacobsen, catcher, Hayfield

The eighth-grader made some big strides as she hit .379 with an on-base percentage of .407, while tallying four doubles, one triple, one homer and 24 RBIs.

Kate Kruger, first base, Hayfield

The junior hit .386 with an on-baser percentage of .413 as she racked up six homers, two doubles and an area’s best 37 RBIs.

Kyal Heydt, second base, Hayfield

A year after she missed an entire season with a knee injury, the junior bounced back and hit .422 with on-base percentage of .462 to go along with seven homers, 10 doubles and 33 RBIs.

Carrie Rutledge, shortstop, Hayfield

The junior hit .553 with eight doubles, four triples, two homers, 29 RBIs and 42 runs.

Hannah McMasters, third base, Austin

The sophomore hit .373 for the Packers with 17 RBIs to lead the team.

Maggie Streightiff, outfield, Hayfield

The junior hit .402 with an on-base percentage of .470 and she had six homers, four doubles and 33 RBIs.

Bria Baldwin, outfield, Blooming Prairie

The Blossoms’ senior hit .373 with eight doubles, one triple and 17 RBIs.

Linnea Sunde, outfield, Blooming Prairie

The junior slap-hitter tallied a .377 batting average with one double, nine RBIs and 22 runs. Sunde was also a threat on the base paths as she stole 27 bases.

HONORABLE MENTION

Halie Retterath, shortstop, Austin

The junior hit .386 with 13 RBIs for the Packers and she was a solid presence defensively throughout the spring.

Jordyn McCormack, second, base Austin

The freshman played 14 games after being moved up to the varsity. McCormack hit .279 and led Austin in extra base hits. She committed zero errors on defense.

Caitlyn Hendrickson, pitcher, Hayfield

The eight-grader came on strong in the postseason for the Vikings as she finished the season with an ERA of 5.88. Hendrickson went 5-1 with a save as she struck out 36 in 60 innings.

Olivia Matti, third base, Hayfield

The junior hit .365 with an on-base percentage of .432 as she had six doubles and 10 RBIs.

Kelly Johnson, outfield, Hayfield

The junior hit .322 to go along with three doubles and 11 RBIs.

Lexi Dudycha, outfield, Hayfield

The junior hit .348 with an on-base percentage of .379 as she finished with three doubles, one triple and 20 RBIs.

Danielle Hinz, outfield, Lyle-Pacelli

The senior hit .393 with a double, a homer and 10 runs scored.

Abby Bollingberg, shortstop, Lyle-Pacelli

The sophomore hit .333 with two doubles, one triple and 13 runs scored.

Taylor Bhend, pitcher, Southland

The junior had a record of 5-17 overall as she maintained an ERA of 5.20. Bhend struck out 54 in 138 innings. At the plate, Behind hit .333 with three doubles and 14 RBIs. Bhend had an on-base percentage of .449.

Lexi Shaw, third base, Southland

The junior hit .292 with an on-base percentage of .421, while racking up two doubles, one triple, one homer and 22 Rbis.

Ramsey Gilson, outfield, Southland

The senior hit .314 with an on-base percentage of .415, while compiling one double, one triple and 10 RBIs.

Brianna Johnson, outfield, Southland

The junior hit .278 with an on-base percentage of .390 with three doubles, two triples and 11 RBIs.

Maya Lembke, catcher, Blooming Prairie

The freshman hit .278 with one double and nine RBIs. Lembke was also a solid defensive presence behind the plate for the Awesome Blossoms.
