Softball: Rebels start strong in win over Wabasha-Kellogg

The Southland softball team jumped out to an early lead as it beat Wabasha-Kellogg (7-8 overall, 7-6 Three Rivers) 6-4 in Rose Creek Thursday.
Morgan Brown had a two-run single in the first inning as the Rebels (3-12 overall, 3-12 Three Rivers) scored three runs in the first frame.
“We’re playing well and our defense is coming along now. We’re doing better and better each game,” Southland head coach Greg Schulte said.
