The No. 3 seeded Blooming Prairie softball team beat No. 2 Faribault Bethlehem Academy (15-5 overall) 5-2 in the Section 1A West semifinals in Faribault Wednesday.

Julia Worke had a double and two RBIs in the win for BP (15-7 overall).

The Awesome Blossoms will now play top-seeded Hayfield in the Section 1A West title game 4:30 p.m. Friday in Todd Park.
