Lyle-Pacelli softball team closes out regular season with a loss
The Lyle-Pacelli softball team lost 14-2 in five innings to Randolph (15-2 overall, 8-0 SEC) in Todd Park Thursday.
LP (4-11 overall, 4-5 SEC) fell behind 5-0 in the second inning and it wasn’t able to get back in the game.
Miranda Arkells took the loss for LP, which will open postseason play Monday.
“I think our girls will be ready for sections on Monday,” LP head coach Jeff Yocom said. “It’s a new season and we want to do something.”
