Hayfield grad Grace Mindrup was named to the All-WIAC first team for softball in her first season with the Eagles.

Mindrup has played in 36 games this season, including 32 starts, while hitting .315 overall. She is tied for the team lead in home runs (2) while ranking third in RBI (26) and tied for third in doubles (6). Mindrup has recorded seven multiple-hit games in 2017 while having at least one hit in 20 games. She is second on the team in multiple-RBI games (7). 

The Eagles’ 28 wins this year are tied for third-most in school history.  UWL also won 28 games in 2011.  The team finished with a school record 38 wins in 2010 and recorded its second-most wins with 34 in 2009. UWL has won at least 20 games in 10 straight seasons.
